The farmers markets are in full swing and it is a great time to celebrate the flavors of summer. Join me as we experience summer on a plate.
First up is a tomato salad inspired by one I had in Provence. It showcases the fabulous tomatoes available from our local farmers. Next we will make a summer pasta salad with orzo lightly sauteed produce.
For our main dish, we will use fresh peaches to create a peach glaze to go with a pork chop.
And not leaving out dessert, we will make a classic Italian custard sauce to serve over fresh berries. Zabaglione with a hint of marsala and Prosecco is a perfect complement to fresh fruit.
