Hard to believe that the Holiday Season is upon us! That means it’s time for the annual Holiday Breakfast Class. Be sure to join me for this class on Saturday November 15th at 6PM. This class always sells out, so get your reservation in quickly!
It’s been several years since we’ve done the Cinnamon Roll recipe – so we’ll be dusting off this recipe and showing you how to make some tasty Cinnamon Rolls from scratch with a nice glaze on top.
I’ve been working on some new recipes and we will be making Pumpkin Scones. These fit the season if you want something other than pumpkin pie. I try to include some type of breakfast “casserole” – so we will be doing a Cinnamon Toast Casserole.
I’ve been requested by a number of folks to repeat a classic Southern Breakfast Staple (or lunch or dinner depending on where you go….) – Shrimp and Grits. It’s been a while since we’ve done this recipe as well and a lot of folks missed it. This is a Shrimp gravy served over stone ground grits with cheese. My favorite grits are from a mill in Tennessee – Southern City Flavors Stone Ground Grits. We’ll be cooking these up, adding some cheddar cheese and making the shrimp to go over them.
