The Saturday evening class sold out very quickly – if you missed out, here’s your chance for the second class on Sunday evening August 25th at 5PM.

It’s time to enjoy some summer dishes. We’ll start with an appetizer – Watermelon and Peach Salsa. We’ll serve this with chips.

For our main dish, we’ll do a nice beef flank steak. Once marinated and grilled (grilled indoors in grill pan), we’ll make a red wine sauce to go with it.

Our side dish is another Italian Tomato dish, but this time we’ll include risotto to go with it, or more properly, in it. Pomodori Ripieni alla Romana starts with a whole tomato that we will stuff with the rice and once baked in the oven turns into a tasty tomato bowl with risotto.

For dessert, we’ll make Semifreddo al Croccantino – this is a frozen dessert that is not ice cream or gelato, but is nice and light with whipped cream and egg whites. Gives it a nice fluffy texture. (Please note, this recipe uses raw eggs.)
