As we look to bring 2021 to a close, it is time to get together to celebrate the Christmas season! Join me as we enjoy our 2021 Escape the Holiday Christmas Dinner Class.
For this Christmas dinner, a boneless pork loin is going to be the star of the show. We are going to butterfly the pork loin and season it with rosemary, garlic, and fennel. Once we put it back together, we will roast it in the oven until it’s done and ready to enjoy!
For dishes to go along with the pork roast, we will make Pommes de Terres Sautes and Green Bean Amandine, two stovetop vegetable dishes. Pommes de Terres translates to “apple of the earth” or potatoes. We are going to use the small potatoes and saute them for a wonderful side dish for the pork. The green beans will be blanched and then sauteed in butter and flavored with Amaretto.
We of course can’t forget dessert! We’re going to finish this dinner off with a Lemon Tart with a Pretzel Crust.
This demonstration style class will be offered on two consecutive nights – Sunday December 19, and Monday December 20 at 6:00PM.
