If there is one thing this virus can’t affect it’s that this time of the summer is the peak for peaches and tomatoes. While we may not be able to gather together to enjoy this cooking class, we can gather virtually via Zoom for this Summer Virtual Class featuring peaches and tomatoes.

We will start by making a peach salsa that is served with chips. Then we’ll put together a salad that is about as summery as you can get – Pont du Gard Tomato Salad. This is a recreation of a salad we had at a picnic lunch in the south of France as we were visiting to Pont du Gard. (If you haven’t been there, the Pont du Gard is an old Roman viaduct). For our entree, we’ll finish up with another great combination – pork and peaches. We will make a stovetop grilled pork chop with a peach glaze.

For this virtual class, you can either cook along with me as we make all of these dishes together and you’ll have your dinner for Saturday night, or you can sit back and watch me prepare the dishes, the only downside, you don’t get to taste them. I will send out a shopping and equipment list and the day before the class, I will send out the recipes and Zoom connection information.

While I wish I could host you in our new kitchen, we’ll do the next best thing by hanging out together virtually.
