As Christmas approaches, it’s time to begin thinking about the big Christmas celebration which means it’s time for the annual Escape the Holiday Christmas Dinner class. There are two dates to choose from – Tuesday December 18th or Thursday December 20th.
This year, I want to present an extravagant Christmas Dinner. To get started properly, we will make some Crab Cakes for the appetizer.
For the main entree, we will start with a Beer Tenderloin. We will then encase it in a salt dome and then roast it in the oven. To go along side, we will make a french style mashed potato side dish and brown it in the oven.
For dessert, we will put together two classic flavors – chocolate and caramel. Combined together into a rich tart, this is a fitting end to a fabulous Christmas Celebration.
