It started many years ago because, frankly, I couldn’t face teaching one more turkey roasting class. Everyone already has a plan for the bird — or at least an uncle who claims to — but on Thanksgiving morning, we all wake up hungry and somehow breakfast gets overlooked. That just didn’t seem right. Thus, the Holiday Breakfast Class was born!
This year’s menu celebrates cozy morning flavors: buttery Chai Scones that make your kitchen smell like a winter market, Cinnamon Sugar Muffins that could pass for dessert if you’re not careful, a golden, flaky Cinnamon Slab Pastry (picture an elegant breakfast pastry big enough to share… or not), and a hearty Breakfast Casserole that’s as flexible as your family schedule.
We’ll keep things festive, relaxed, and full of tips you can actually use at home — whether you’re feeding sleepy guests or just rewarding yourself for surviving holiday prep. Expect warm spices, good laughs, and a few surprises along the way.
So join me for one of my favorite traditions of the year — a cheerful kickoff to the holiday season and a reminder that breakfast deserves a place at the celebration table, too.
