If there is a holiday connected with Chocolate, Valentines Day would be the one. It is estimated that $1.7B will be spent on chocolate for Valentines Day. So it seems only fitting to have a class dedicated to chocolate! Plan on joining me as we focus on this beloved ingredient. We’ll taste a variety of dishes from warm to cold.
We will whip up some chocolate mousse and make it into a tart. Next make a chocolate base and freeze it into a sorbet. If you aren’t familiar with cocoa nibs, we’ll taste this “raw” chocolate and then feature them in a cookie. We’ll finish the night with molten chocolate cakes, a dessert staple on many restaurant menus.
We will test just how much chocolate you can eat in one night. If you love chocolate, then this class is for you.
Menu:
Chocolate Mouse Tart
Cocoa Sorbet
Nibby Cookies
Molten Chocolate Cake
Tuition for this class is $50 per person. You can reserve by emailing C.C. or use the registration form. But get your reservation in early – this class is sure to sell out!
